We are ex-abhyasis/family members of current abhyasis, who have been negatively impacted, personally or in our family and friends, by the SRCM (California - 1997) registered in California in 1997, but now headquartered in Chennai, India, and it's Method of meditation called: Sahaj Marg.  Sahaj Marg is now a "registered trade mark", controlled by the SRCM Schism led by Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari, (aka Chari or Chariji) and a group of businessmen.

We have experienced divorces due to teachings of Sahaj Marg, either direcly, or divorce of a close family member or divorce of a close friend where only one partner is involved in this group, and are alarmed by the impact of mind control and brainwashing executed in sahaj marg. Although the original group was founded by Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (Babuji), in 1945, there have been other schisms in India and in Europe and North America since "Chari" came on the scene.  The original society is still functionning and presided by Babuji's grandson, Navneet Kumar Saxena.  Chari and his group of businessmen re-registered the society (under the same name: Shri Ram Chandra Mission) in San Luis Obispo, California, USA, in 1997.  The Sahaj Marg Research Institute (founded by Professor Dr. K.C. Varadachari, a friend of Babuji and "guru in waiting"), had a name-change to: Sahaj Marg Research and Training Institute (SMRTI), and was registered in Austin, Texas, in 1997.  The Board of Directors of the national societies of SRCM's around the world were changed to abhyasis loyal to Chari, even parachuting "non-residents" to serve as board members and placing Chari as the President of all national SRCM societies around the world.  Chari's clan in effect, took over the society from the Family of Babuji, it's founder.


There are still many court cases pending against this group. 


We are not opposed to SPIRITUALITY and/or Religion in general, or to Sahaj Marg in particular, but we are endeavouring to expose this commercialized "brand" of neo-religion which is in reality, the real-estate business of the "spiritualist" pseudo-Spirituality that is the SRCM (California - 1997).  SRCM (California - 1997) and Sahaj marg, with its focus on "obedience" to the Guru, become a living dead, and channeled messages from the spirits of the deceased, is a throw-back to 12th century Europe where the Holy Roman Catholic Church (Vatican), because of its practice of "spiritual(ist) capitalism", entered the period we now call:  the "Protestant Reformation".   It is what we want for the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, and all such "harmful sects" !! We have started this website only to inform people that everything is not ok with this group, If sahaj marg and Shree Ram Chandra Mission was actually that, what it claims to be, there was no reason as why this website was operating today.

There is something seriously wrong with this group and this website is a proof of it. Otherwise there was no reason for all of us to join together from different parts of the globe and offer this website. We feel that not informing people about activities happening inside this cult, would be a serious mistake on our part who have experienced mind-control and brainwashing of sahaj marg first hand.
